Much of my package pricing is based on three guiding principles:

  1. Client's Digital Ownership — you, the client, should be allowed to own digital copies of all the images included with your package, and you shouldn't have to pay extra for this service
  2. Relative Affordability — anyone, even those living paycheck-to-paycheck, should be able to have a professional portrait taken without having to save for months or years on end
  3. Photography as a Trade — I, the photographer, should use my education and training to pre-select the best images for you and offer suggestions on which prints and products would do your images the best justice; showing you every option available is just as mind-boggling as if a carpenter were to show you every possible nail and screw he might use to build your house

In order to serve all three of these purposes, it is necessary to be meticulous about the amount of time I spend on each session. To this end, I only offer a certain number of images with each session. This has nothing to do with the number of photographs I take during your session—I'll shoot just as much for the $75 package as I will for the $300 package—it simply refers to the number of images returned to you.  In other words, you won't get to see all the pictures from your session—just the ones I select for you. The major advantage to my system, however, is that EVERY image I return to you is already fully-edited and comes with a digital copy for sharing with friends and family online—you OWN the image!
